Details: Only 5-10 minutes’ walk from the train station. Free parking on side streets from 6pm.
Newnham College (Clough Dining Hall)
What: Formal college dinner (advance bookings only; not included in weekend pass).
Where: Sidgwick Ave, Cambridge, CB3 9DF
Details: Some parking on streets nearby, try Sidgwick Ave or Newnham Walk. Alternatively, park up at the Centre at St Paul’s ready for the dance later and walk from there. To get to the dining hall, enter the Porter’s lodge (main entrance on Sidgwick Ave) and turn right. Keep following this corridoor (through several sets of doors) until you are about to be forced to make a right turn, at this point the dining hall is on the left (we hope to have signs!)
Romsey Mill Centre
What: Sunday afternoon tea dance
Where: Hemingford Road, Cambridge, CB1 3BZ
Details: Romsey Mill Centre is situated on the junction between Mill Road, Hemingford Road and Coleridge Road, within a short walk of the railway station. Hemingford Road is one way (towards Mill Road). Access by car is obtained through Ross Street or Vinery Road.
Man on the Moon pub
What: The Speakeasy jazz club on Monday (not included in the weekend pass).
Where: 2 Norfolk Street, Cambridge, CB1 2LF.
Details: Free parking at the pub or on Norfolk Street right outside. Norfolk Street is one-way, so you have to enter via St Matthew’s Street and follow it round to the right.
