We’ve managed to collect a few items over the weekend and would like to reunite them with their owners. If you own any of these items please email info@cambridgelindyexchange.co.uk to arrange their return. Anything that is unclaimed by the end of the month will be given to charity.

Well, ’tis over for another year. We hope you enjoyed yourselves as much as we did, having all you fabulous people come spend the weekend dancing and hanging out with us. Thank you to everyone who traveled to be with us and to the people who helped with putting the event on – the volunteers, hosts, bakers and committee: we couldn’t have done it without each one of you!

Whether you were here for the whole weekend or just one event we would really appreciate knowing what you enjoyed, as well as anything you would like us to reconsider for next year. Please fill in our feedback questionnaire to let us know what we can do to give you even more of what you like.

Hope to see you dancing soon, once you’ve rested and recuperated. Keep an eye out for CLX’10!

Less than 12 hours to go! The shopping’s done, the envelopes are stuffed, and now all we need is you!

We’re thrilled to say that CLX has completely sold out this year – thank you all so much for your interest, and we only wish we had bigger venues to welcome everyone who wanted to come. Unfortunately this means that unlike previous years, we will NOT BE SELLING TICKETS ON THE DOOR at any of our events.

Only three days to go, and the booklet is now online.

Do please look at the info about the pub lunch asap. Although a variety of meals are available on the day, if you would like to order a roast or a meat pie, you need to order by midday Thursday.

“Made in Cambridge” – Saturday night theme announced

To tie-in with the University’s 800th anniversary we’d like to celebrate all things Cambridge. Be inspired by the city and the university – whether that be a college, student life, city events, inventions and discoveries made here, or anything else that sparks an idea. We invite you to show off your creativity at the formal meal in Newnham College, and afterwards at our party at St Paul’s church. Looking forwards to see your ideas, not long now!

There are still some tickets remaining for the Sunday tea-dance with the fabulous Colin Hazel Trio and as much cake as you can shake a stick at (£13/£11 CLH members). However there are only leader tickets available for the Saturday night extravaganza (£17/£15 CLH members). *Phewy* Tickets have been selling like hot cakes (and we know a thing or two about cakes here at CLH!) But we have now SOLD OUT of weekend passes – thanks to everyone who has booked, and sorry if you’ve missed out.

Formal college dinner menu announced

We are happy to announce the menu for the dinner at Newnham College (found here). The dinner is to be held on the Saturday evening of the exchange (17 October 2009), with a prompt start time of 630pm to allow us to get over to the Saturday night venue in good time.

If anyone would like to add a dinner or modify your dinner choices please contact bookings@cambridgelindyexchange.co.uk. All details and payments must be received before 2 October 2009, after which no modifications will be accepted or refunds made.
